Small African shield

Description

Circular shields hand-carved in wood and pigmented.

They can be easily integrated into any space to which they will give an imposing visual centre of attraction.

Shields were traditionally used in Cameroon by young men in initiation ceremonies as warriors. They are therefore objects of prestige and symbols of personal and tribal identification.
